The summons followed the appearance of clips showing him singing and filming himself at the event, adding new public attention to the case at a time when his name surfaced during a wider investigation into alleged drug distribution networks.
Authorities confirmed that Orry’s name came up during the interrogation of a detained suspect and that he is expected to provide clarification regarding his presence at parties described by the accused.
The summons landed a day after concert clips went viral, placing him at the center of a developing narcotics probe that spans Mumbai and Dubai.

Why Orry Was Summoned in the MD Trafficking Investigation
Police officials said that Orry’s name surfaced during statements given by Mohammad Salim Mohammad Suhail Shaikh, an alleged trafficker who was recently brought back from Dubai as part of the investigation.
According to investigators, Shaikh stated that he had organized several high-profile parties in both Mumbai and Dubai, and that “a bunch of famous people including celebrities showed up.” Police sources said the ANC now wants to verify Orry’s attendance at these gatherings and assess whether he has any links to other individuals named by Shaikh.
Officials also said that any decision to summon additional public figures will be taken only after speaking to Orry and assessing the information he provides. The broader investigation is focused on the alleged supply and distribution of mephedrone (MD) and the communications networks used to operate across India and the Gulf.
Orry’s Presence at the Show Adds to Online Speculation
Attention intensified due to the timing. On 19 November, Travis Scott performed before a full crowd at Mahalaxmi Racecourse in Mumbai. Orry was seen in multiple clips shared online, singing along and recording himself. In one video, he asked a friend to shine a light on his face as he filmed.
The next day, the ANC issued a summons ordering him to appear at its Ghatkopar office. Orry did not attend and instead sought a date after 25 November, saying he was not in Mumbai at the time.
This sequence of events has contributed to the growing visibility of the case, especially as videos showing Orry at the concert continue to circulate.
How Other Bollywood Names Entered the Probe
During questioning, Shaikh mentioned several celebrities, including Shraddha Kapoor, Siddhanth Kapoor, Nora Fatehi, the filmmaker duo Abbas–Mustan, rapper Loka, and former MLA Zeeshan Siddique. However, investigators emphasized that no one is facing charges at this stage.
Officials said they are examining the statements carefully and cross-checking claims, especially since the parties referenced by the accused “usually brought together a pretty mixed crowd.”
The ANC believes the trafficking network relied on multiple encrypted platforms including Signal, Trima, Instagram, and FaceTime. Investigators are analyzing communication patterns to establish who interacted with whom and when.

The next phase of the investigation depends on Orry’s statement. Police want to confirm his presence at specific events and determine whether he had any interactions with the accused or others named.
There is no confirmation yet on whether more summonses will be issued this week. Investigators said they will proceed based on information obtained from Orry once he appears before the agency.
