Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani today retained the Rajkot West seat by defeating Congress candidate Indranil Rajyaguru. Rupani, who was initially trailing after the count of postal ballots, later marched ahead of his Congress rival and defeated him by a margin of 54,300 votes.
