Shri Mahila Griha Udyog Lijjat Papad is a world Institution established on 15th March 1959 with the object of upliftment of women from rural area by providing them self-employment opportunities with self -respect. Lijjat which began on an experimental basis has today grown in to a huge banyan tree spread across the country. This Institution earries out activities of making Lijjat Papad. Masla. Gehu Atta. Chapaties, Deteregent Powder, Cake, Liquid Soap and other products throught is sister-members. It has 82 branches and 27 Divisions in the country and thousands of women are associated with this Institution as co-owners. Lijjat is a Public Charitable Trust and recognized as a top-ranked Institution by Khadi & village Industries Commision and working on principles of ‘sarvodaya’ The Managing committee Meeting of this Institution was held on 01.10.2018, in Which the following office- Bearers are appointed for the year 2018-2019.
