An “unidentified flying object” was allegedly sighted over the central Delhi residence of the prime minister on Monday (03) morning, police said. However, upon investigation, no suspicious findings have been made.
Authorities received a PCR call at approximately 5 am reporting the presence of a drone-like object flying over the prime minister’s residence.
A senior officer confirmed that despite the report, the police and other security agencies found no suspicious items or activities. Additionally, the Air Traffic Control (ATC) also confirmed that they did not detect anything unusual in the area.
“An information was received at NDD control room with respect to unidentified flying object near PM residence. Thorough searches were made in nearby areas but no such object was detected. Air traffic control room (ATC) was also contacted, they also did not detect any such flying object near PM residence,” the Delhi Police said in a statement.
