NOTED Indian designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee will present his collection at the grand finale of Lakme Fashion Week (LFW) Winter/Festive season this year.
Renowned both in India and abroad, Sabyasachi’s collections have won accolades and critical acclaim. His finale presentation is set to be one of the season’s most awaited shows, marking the designer’s return after a hiatus of five years.
“Presenting my collection at LFW is always a special occasion. This is where I made my debut as a designer, which provided me with a platform to be recognized by the world of fashion.
“Returning as the grand finale designer after five years is very exciting. The show promises to be truly grand,” Sabyasachi said in a statement in Mumbai.
Sabyasachi celebrates fashion with a fusion of style and sensibility that resonates international styling with an Indian soul.
“We are delighted to have Sabyasachi. His creative genius combined with inspiration from Lakme’s latest beauty trends is sure to bring the season’s festive theme alive,” said Purnima Lamba, head of innovation at Lakme.
