DETECTIVES investigating the assault of a sales assistant have released CCTV images of four Asian men they wish to speak with.
On Wednesday, February 11 three men entered a shop at the Texaco garage on The Highway, E1 whilst a fourth man stood outside.
Staff at the shop confronted the men as they believed that they were responsible for a previous theft.
As the men attempted to leave the shop, one of them attacked a sales assistant across the head.
The suspects are described as Asian and of slim build. Suspect one was wearing a black jacket, jeans, black trainers and a grey baseball cap.
Suspect two was wearing a black hooded top, a puff-style jacket, blue tracksuit trousers and was carrying a black bag. Suspect three wore a beige top, blue jeans, black trainers and a black hat. He was carrying a beige bag.
The fourth suspect – who remained outside the shop – wore a maroon jacket, black trousers and white trainers.
