AN international boutique finance brand owned by an Indian entrepreneur is taking its global expansion plans further as it opens the doors to new offices at the "Gherkin" building in London.
The DVK group provide services including corporate finance; private equity; structured trade and commodity finance; mergers and acquisitions; and global commodity trading.
They have offices in Hong Kong, and a global presence in Europe, Africa, south America, the Far East and the Baltic states.
Earlier this year the group turned its focus to establishing DVK Aviation, an initiative spearheading new aviation projects in Africa, Asia and the CIS (Commonwealth of Independent States) region as well as opening a new office in Malawi.
Deepak Kuntawala, founder and chief executive of the DVK Group, said the organisation is investing in "world class systems" to achieve its aim.
“This is a great time for the DVK Group and I am very excited about our new location at the Gherkin. We have a number of projects and transactions which are propelling dynamic growth.
The DVK team is passionate, dedicated and truly committed to delivering our goals – we are attracting talented experts with significant acumen that add tangible value to our clients.
We are investing significant resources in world class systems, people, business infrastructure, leading advisors such as Norton Rose and strategic partners to ensure we achieve our vision.”
DVK traces its roots back to the 1900s when the Kuntawala's grandfather began supplying blankets and clothing to the British Army in Zambia.
