The mortal remains of late Pramukh Swami Maharaj, head of Bochasanvasi Akshar Purushottam Sanstha(BAPS) were cremated today at Sarangpur Mandir campus. He breathed his last on Saturday (August 13). The mortal remains of the pious saint was preserved since Saturday (August 13) in a glass enclosure.
India’s national president of ruling party BJP, Amit Shah, Union Finance minister Arun Jaitley, senior BJP leader L K Advani, Union Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu, Spiritual leader Morari Bapu, Yoga guru Ramdev Baba, senior leader of Opposition party Congress, Ahmed Patel, Samajwadi Party MP Amar Singh, India’s top businessman Anil Ambani, Deputy Chief Minister of Gujarat Nitin Patel, Gujarat state BJP president Jitubhai Vaghani, Gujarat State Congress president Bharatsinh Solanki among others reached Sarangpur Mandir on Wednesday (August 17) to be part of the funeral.
Thousands of devotees from all the world descended at the BAPS Sarangpur mandir campus to witness cremation of Pramukh Swami.
Several dignitaries have visited Sarangpur since Saturday (August 13) incluing India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi who paid his last respects on Monday (August 15).
