PUJYA Swami Chidanand Saraswati ji, the President and Spiritual Head of Parmarth Niketan Ashram in Rishikesh and the Convenor of Sarva Dharma Sansad (Parliament of Religions) met Anna Hazare to encourage and support him in his efforts.
Swamiji brought Anna, water from the Holy Ganga and also from Lake Mansarovar, requesting him to break his fast with the holy water. Pujya Swamiji told Anna that the Government must take care of the bill and that Anna is needed to take care of the ‘country’s heart’.
He urged Anna, that though the bill is important, the heart of the country is even more important and Anna has an important role to play.
The “anshan” has shown the government and the world that the people of India are ready for a corruption-free India but now the action must start and Anna must lead that action.
Pujya Swamiji said that Anna’s role is not only to lead the “anshan” but also to lead the action and for that he must be strong and healthy.
“The nation needs Anna’s vision and dedication. It is appreciative, the way Anna has brought together the youth of the country together – full of dedication, enthusiasm and dedication. After Gandhi, Anna is the one to walk on the path of non-violence. This is the kind of leadership that India needs,” he added.
