A behind-the-scenes clip from comedian Kapil Sharma’s show The Great Indian Kapil Show has surfaced, offering a humorous glimpse into Sharma’s struggles with English while interacting with international music star Ed Sheeran.

The clip shows Sharma lamenting the sheer volume of new English words added to the dictionary each year, quipping, “We are not able to finish the first syllabus, and they are feeding us the next one.”

Sharma’s lighthearted self-deprecation continues as he reveals handwritten notes in his pocket containing lines prepared for Sheeran’s introduction. He playfully defends himself against the audience’s amusement, citing nervousness about using English with the singer.

Sharma even requests that the air conditioning be lowered, claiming English conversation makes him feel hot! His remark, “English bolke body mein garmi badi aati hai (You feel hot while speaking English)… My English is over,” garnered laughter from both Sheeran and the audience.
