Australia beat India by 35 runs in the final ODI at Firoz Shah Kotla Ground in Delhi to clinch the five-match series 3-2. Chasing a moderate target of 273, India were bowled out for 237 with Adam Zampa stealing the show, bagging three wickets from his 10 overs.
This is Australia’s first series victory in India in six years.
Earlier India restricted Australia to 272 for nine after Usman Khawaja continued with his imperious form by hitting his second hundred of the series.
Khawaja, who had not scored a century before arriving to India for this series, hit an exact 100 off 106 balls and shared two big partnerships at the top of the order.
