A woman was left shaken after a thief ripped a gold chain from her neck in broad daylight while she was working in an off license.
He ran out of the store in Dudley, after approaching the woman and tearing the jewellery worth £2,000 from her body.
The callous robber then got into the passenger side of a grey Seat Leon with two other men on board.
Police have released a CCTV image of a man they are looking to talk to in connection with the attack.
He is described as Asian, aged between 20 to 30 years-old, 5 foot 5 inches tall and stocky with short hair and a goatee beard. The robbery took place on Friday September 5 around 11am, at the 7 til late Convenience Store in Bush Road, Netherton.
DC Pat Lewis from the investigation team for Brierley Hill Police said: "The vehicle used was stolen and was later found burnt out in Weavers Rise, Netherton.
"Our enquiries are currently on-going but we would like anyone who recognises the man to contact us on 101 or call Crimestoppers confidentially on 0800 555 111."
