EALING Southall MP Virendra Sharma opened the new branch of the State Bank of India in Southall earlier this month.

He joined key executives and the bank’s customers at an unveiling on the high street.

Among the bank’s executives at the event were M Mahapatra, the regional head of SBI UK, Rajnish Kumar, the current regional head, and Manoj Kakkar, the Southall branch manager.

The bank used to be located at Kings House, along the Green in Southall, for more than 30 years.
