All the devotees of Lord Sai Baba will now heave a sigh of relief with the administrative authority at the Lord Sai Baba’s Shirdi temple’s decision to start the registration of devotees for darshan at the Shridi shrine in Maharashtra, India.

This move taken to avoid long queues at the shrine by the Shri Saibaba Sansthan Trust (SSST) is on the lines of the famous Tirupati temple in South India. The registration will start in three months
‘The move is aimed at saving time of lakhs of pilgrims. The SSST will start 'Plan Darshan' within three months’, Trusts' newly appointed chairperson Suresh Haware told reporters.
‘We will use the digital media and open various booking centres where devotees will have to register their names. The SSST will fix the time of their visit. This way the devotees can avoid standing in queues at the shrine,’ he said.
Haware further said as per demands of the locals, the Trust will set up 'Sai Baba Knowledge City' which will comprise a medical college, nursing, pharmaceutical and degree college.
The SSST has established a junior college in Shirdi.
According to the chairperson, the Trust is also trying to develop Shirdi as an ‘entertainment city’ by setting up a laser show among others.
