PREMIER league club Blackburn Rovers are yet to make a decision on whether to travel to India for their pre-season tour following the Mumbai bombings.
Three bombs ripped through crowded commuter areas of the city on July 12, leaving 21 people dead.
Discussions with the Foreign Office have taken place and word was that the trip would be cancelled, but a spokesman for the club said no decision had been taken yet.
"It's unlikely to be made today, probably tomorrow now," he said today.
It is understood that Blackburn would be the first Premier League club ever to visit India. Live games are followed avidly every Saturday and the country boasts many Premier League fans, though largely for the big four of Manchester United, Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea.
Blackburn had been scheduled to travel to India this week ahead of game arranged in Pune for Friday (July 22).
Blackburn stars Chris Samba, the club captain, and Paul Robinson and Ryan Nelsen had been expected to turn out in a local tournament as well.
Pune about 160km from Mumbai is home to Venky's, the Indian chicken farming company which owns Blackburn Rovers.
Last week the club announced it was setting up a feeder academy in Pune as the club looks for an Indian-grown star to grace the Premier League.
