Don’t miss out on your place at the Asian Business Awards (ABAs) on Friday, March 26.

One of Britain’s most distinctive conference venues, the Sofitel at Heathrow, will play host to a night that promises much in the way of entertainment, education, glamour and celebration. A number of high-powered business figures will be present and it could be your chance to network, learn a thing or two from the speakers and enjoy a really great evening.

Two new awards have been added to the list of five already up for grabs. The award-winning Incredible India campaign is the latest organisation to back the event.

It is sponsoring two awards – The Favourite Tour Operator Award and the Favourite Airline to India award.*

These awards are in addition to the Asian Business of the Year, Asian Businesswoman of the Year, Young Entrepreneur, Green Business and Social Entrepreneur. On the evening itself, we will also be publishing our eagerly anticipated Asian Rich List of the 101 richest Asians in Britain.

The ABAs is an essential business event for Britain’s many and varied multicultural companies and entrepreneurs, and provides an opportunity to network with many high-profile business leaders, sporting heroes and celebrities alike. Former guests include HRH The Prince of Wales, HRH The Princess Royal and former British prime minister Tony Blair.

Kalpesh Solanki, group managing director of the Asian Media & Marketing Group (AMG), publishers of Eastern Eye, said: “We are hugely excited to re-launch the Asian Rich List as part of this year’s Eastern Eye Asian Business Awards.

“We have a panel of professionals currently devising the list which includes some incredible stories and impressive business insights.

“As well as the Rich List, the Eastern Eye Asian Business Awards will also commend those within multi-cultural Britain who have exceeded expectations in business during these tough economic times.”

Among the sponsors are HSBC, Grant Thornton, Health & Safety Executive, Chivas, Lebara Mobile and Sun Mark Ltd.
