AIR INDIA has launched special all-inclusive promotional return fares on its international routes.
The airline is offering return fares as low as Rs15,999 (£183/$295) on the India-UAE route and Rs51,999 (£594/$957) on the India-US sector.
The seven-day scheme started on Monday (December 10) and will remain open till December 16, an Air India spokesperson said. The fares have been launched for travel on more than 15 city pairs worldwide.
“The scheme is valid for out-bound travel with immediate effect to the far east destinations like (Seoul, Osaka and Tokyo) and the near east destinations (Hong Kong, Shanghai and Singapore).
“On sectors to the US, the UK, Europe and UAE the validity of travel would be from January 21, 2013,” the spokesperson added.
The return fare for the US (New York, Newark and Chicago) is Rs51,999 ($958.53/£593.69); for the UK (London) it is Rs40,999 (£468/$755) and for Europe (Frankfurt and Paris) it is Rs35,999 (£411/$663).
Passengers travelling from Delhi would have to pay Rs2,000 ($36.85/£22.82) more, the spokesperson said, adding that some 10,000 bookings were done on the first day.
