A CONFERENCE on ‘Cancer Care: Living with Cancer’ will be held atBAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir in Neasden, London on Saturday (January 5).

 

The conference will provide information to the South Asian community about living with and beyond cancer, either as a carer or patient.

 

The topics discussed will include major signs and symptoms of cancer, the role of the hospice, financial support and guidance, help for carers, and the importance of a healthy diet and lifestyle both for the prevention and treatment of the disease.

 

The event, organised by BAPS Charities, Macmillan Cancer Support and St Luke’s Hospice, is open to anyone interested in learning more about cancer.

 

The programme will include talks, workshops and the opportunity to visit information stands run by Macmillan Cancer Support and St Luke’s Hospice. Speakers from both will provide information as well as opportunity for delegates to ask questions to the experts.
