ermany on Friday welcomed the Norwegian Nobel Committee’s decision to award the Nobel Peace Prize to the International Campaign to Abolish Nuclear Weapons (ICAN). “The government supports the goal of a world without nuclear weapons and congratulates the Nobel Prize committee on this choice,” a government spokeswoman told a regular government news conference in Berlin.
