POETS, rappers and emerging MCs will take centre stage on Thursday (25) evening as the Whitechapel gallery opens it doors to the Slambassadors.

The Poetry Society brings together the best from the Slambassadors competition UK championship to perform their investigations into Bengali Britain with BBC Blast.

Among the performer this evening are Aisling Fahey, Benedit Sebuyange, NAGA, Diane Cheng, Amy Luong, Sarah Olowofoyeku, Billie Owolabi and habib Arabzada (pictured)

The event is held in the first floor bar and starts at 7pm and goes on to 11pm. Entry is free.
