BSF parade
Soldiers of India's Border Security Force (BSF) salute during their passing out parade in Humhama, on the outskirts of Srinagar on October 11. Two hundred and forty-four recruits were formally inducted into the BSF on Thursday. The recruits will be mostly deployed along borders, as part of an Indian paramilitary force, after completing 36 weeks of rigorous training in physical fitness, weapons handling and anti-terrorism tactics, according to a BSF spokesman.
