HINDI channel Sahara One pushed out its competitors Sunrise TV, Zing and Sony SAB TV to grab fifth position for the first time in the UK Asian TV ratings battle.

 

Sahara One had its best ever weekly reach since joining BARB ((Broadcasters’ Audience Research Board), the organisation responsible for providing the official measurement of UK television audiences, in July.

 

The channel got 420,000 people tuning into watch the channel with Sunrise TV getting 389,000, Zing with 346,000 and Sony SAB TV getting 327,000 over the past seven days.
